Publication Ethics
Author Ethics
Reporting
Authors must report the process and results of their research honestly, clearly, precisely, accurately, comprehensively, and in a balanced manner, and must be able to retain the research data intact. The honesty of authors is highly expected in presenting every piece of data and information contained in the content and results of the research.
Originality
Authors declare that the manuscript submitted to the journal editorial team is original (originating from the Author's own ideas), has never been submitted or published in any medium, in any language, and is not currently under consideration by another publisher. In the event of duplicate publication or fraudulent conduct, the Author agrees that their article will be removed from this journal's publication.
Clarity of Sources
Authors must cite and ensure that every reference used as a quotation and included in the bibliography is written completely and clearly. Authors are strictly prohibited from quoting other people's works without citing the original source.
Responsibility
Authors bear full responsibility for the data and research results they have written, including in terms of methods, analysis, calculations, and details. If verification is required by the editor and reviewers, Authors must be willing to respond clearly, precisely, and honestly.
Agreement
Authors ensure that the names listed in the article are arranged based on the intellectual contributions and ideas of each Author and have been approved by the entire team of Authors. If there is any change, reduction, or addition of Author names, it must obtain the approval of the team of Authors. If any external party contributes fully (non-substantively) to the smooth completion of the manuscript, Authors must ensure that acknowledgment is given to the relevant parties.
Timeliness
Authors must be punctual in revising the manuscript based on review and editing results in order to maintain discipline and regularity in journal publication. If they are not punctual, Authors are prepared to bear the consequences, namely the delay in the publication of the journal article.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Authors uphold copyright and each other's privacy in order to avoid conflicts of interest. If a conflict of interest arises with another party, Authors must resolve it in a fair and wise manner.
Editor Ethics
Neutrality
Editors must be neutral in selecting and screening manuscripts. Editors must be objective and fair to every Author who submits their manuscript to the editorial team. Editors are prohibited from discriminating against Authors on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, race, inter-group relations, or nationality.
Reporting
Editors must report the results of manuscript selection and review clearly and precisely to Authors, taking into account the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of the reporting of research and development results, including manuscript editing and writing techniques.
Communicativeness
Editors must communicate effectively and efficiently in the journal publication process. Every suggestion and criticism, whether from Authors, reviewers, or journal managers, must be responded to positively, clearly, honestly, and transparently.
Fairness
Editors must distribute manuscripts fairly to members of the editorial team and reviewers based on their respective duties, responsibilities, and competencies.
Professionalism
Editors must work professionally based on their duties and responsibilities. Editors must understand every policy related to journal publication. Editors must ensure that every manuscript has undergone a proper, fair, and objective editing and review process.
Responsibility
Editors bear full responsibility for the successful publication of the journal. Editors guarantee that every published journal article is a new and original manuscript that is not plagiarized and provides benefits to those who read and access the journal.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Editors uphold copyright and each other's privacy in order to avoid conflicts of interest. If a conflict of interest arises with another party, Editors must resolve it in a fair and wise manner.
Reviewer Ethics
Neutrality
Reviewers must be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and committed solely to scientific truth. The manuscript review process must be carried out professionally without discriminating against the Author's background. Reviewers are prohibited from reviewing manuscripts that involve themselves, whether directly or indirectly.
Professionalism
Reviewers must be critical and professional in assessing the content of a manuscript, namely in accordance with their field of expertise, open to new things, keep confidential the material being assessed, not take personal advantage of the manuscript being reviewed, and possess the spirit to improve the manuscript under review. Reviewers have the right to decline to review a manuscript if the manuscript is not in accordance with their area of expertise and may recommend another more competent reviewer.
Quality Assurance
Reviewers have the task of assisting Editors in improving the quality of the manuscripts they review. Reviewers examine manuscripts substantively, not merely in terms of grammar and sentences, punctuation, and typographical errors. Reviewers are required to uphold the fundamental principles and scientific analysis in the process of reviewing a manuscript. Reviewers work based on the principles of truth, novelty, and originality; prioritize the benefits of the manuscript for the advancement of science, technology, and innovation; and understand the impact of the writing on the development of science and technology.
Timeliness
Reviewers must review manuscripts and provide responses/recommendations to Editors promptly and are expected to be punctual in reviewing manuscripts. If the review period is considered insufficient, reviewers must notify the Editor with clear reasons in the interest of discipline and regularity of journal publication.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers uphold copyright and each other's privacy in order to avoid conflicts of interest. If a conflict of interest arises with another party, Reviewers must resolve it in a wise and prudent manner.
Journal Management Ethics
Decision-Making
Journal managers must articulate the organization's vision, mission, and objectives in journal publication, taking into account the recommendations of reviewers and the editorial board. In decision-making, journal managers must be neutral and free from conflicts of interest of individuals or groups, business considerations, and aspects of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations (SARA).
Freedom
Journal managers must provide freedom to reviewers and editors to create a harmonious and mutually respectful working atmosphere in order to guarantee and protect intellectual property rights, particularly those related to the management of funds received from third parties. Journal managers must encourage editors and reviewers to apply research ethical clearance, including maintaining confidentiality, permits, and special requirements in research involving humans, animals, and other living beings.
Responsibility
Journal managers are responsible for updating information on journal publication policy guidelines in accordance with their implementation, starting from determining the publication name, journal link, scope, manuscript writing guidelines, publication cooperation, licensing and publication legality, to the evaluation of manuscript publication.
Promotion
Journal managers must promote and ensure the sustainability of journal publication. Journal managers have the right to determine funding in accordance with the policies and needs of journal publication. In their management, funders must not intervene in the substance of the published content. Sources of research and development funding must be stated in the publication without affecting readers' perception.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Journal managers uphold copyright and each other's privacy in order to avoid conflicts of interest. If a conflict of interest arises with another party, journal managers must resolve it in a fair and wise manner.
